We are still hoping to add another dentist to our team, but we want to take our time and be certain to get the right person.

In the meantime, we have our two EFDAs. Expanded Functions Dental Assistants are assistants that have continued their education to get licensed by the state. They can restore teeth, place sealants, polish as well as many other things. They have been a huge help so far and now that we know this is working, we are ready to introduce them.

Some of you already know Hailee. She has been with us for more than 5 years as an assistant. Hailee then went to EFDA school in the evenings and has been doing that for several years. She is very skilled at her craft.

The other EFDA is new team member. Her name is Karley, she is not new to the field, just new to Dental Health. We knew Karley prior to her employment here so we were sure she was perfect for the position.

We know you will love working with them while getting outstanding dental care. Our new team approach is so efficient and leaves minimal wait time for the patients. You will see the Hygienist for routine dental appointments as well as for administering anesthetic. Then the dentist and assistant will come in to do the examination, diagnosis, and preparation of the tooth to be restored. Once the prep is done, an EFDA will come in to restore the area. The dentist will do one final check before we are finished with your appointment and dismiss you to see the ladies up front. The whole team, working together to provide you with the quality care you deserve.

We have also hired two new dental assistants, Maddy and Gia. They are trained and ready for a third dentist to come on board.
